CLASS Explore the new Urban Sketching and Travel Sketching movements and a taste of “Plein-Air” sketching traditions in this 5 week Tuesday class. Meeting at Beverly Street Studio School, we will sketch in the classroom studio and around Staunton (weather permitting). Quick pencil studies will be our starting point and we’ll also be trying several other pencil sketching strategies as well as both classic and very contemporary pencil techniques. Suitable for beginner to advanced students who have some experience in drawing (or painting).

ENROLLMENT Minimum of 3 with a maximum of 12 students.

STUDENTS: Adults and very mature/older (15+) Teens
