Small Groups Instruction for Adults
Small Groups Instruction for Adults
Please be sure to contact me directly BEFORE signing up/creating a class so that we can talk about what you would like to cover, the number of sessions, scheduling, and other logistics. (For a new solo student wanting a series of class sessions, I prefer to meet for an hour or so (free) to look at and discuss your current work as well as your thoughts, desires, and possible goals.)
It is a real joy to help people who are excited about making art, exploring new or old materials, and stretching their technical and aesthetic experiences. With over 30 years experience helping individuals and small groups through classes and workshops taught throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast and as far afield as San Francisco and Chicago. I would be happy to talk to you or your group about a workshop or class focused on design, painting, drawing, and/or sketching in a wide variety of media!
Small group private classes are typically scheduled to meet for 1.5 to 3 hour long sessions. (Very small groups may prefer a 1.5 to 2.5 hour session; any group of three or more will certainly need a longer 2-3 hour time period so that everyone will get adequate individual attention.) We can often adjust that length if needed and classes can probably run for as many sessions as you wish to set up.
All workshops meet for at least a two or three hours per session. If you wish, we can schedule one or as many as five or six sessions within a single week or weekend.
As I said above, before we can schedule any private small group lessons, classes, or workshops, we will need to talk a bit about the material(s) and techniques you would like to cover, the number of people you wish to have involved, the venue(s) you prefer, scheduling and timing for the instruction, as well as should we explore pricing options.. Only then, and if all parties feel that we might be a good fit, can we finalize a plan.
I look forward to talking with you.
