Intro to Watercolor, pt 1 (@ BSSS)

Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced students will discover and explore basic traditional and contemporary watercolor techniques. This course (pt. 1) will have a focus on traditional Wet-on-Dry techniques. Beginning students will learn how to use basic watercolor tools, techniques, and design concepts to create their own paintings. Experienced painters will get a chance enrich their work with ever more challenging projects or experimental approaches. Lots of demos, handouts, and feedback will aid each student achieve their goals in the class.

We will create lots of design and color studies as well as several small or modestly sized paintings.

STUDENTS: Adults & Mature, older teens

DATES AND TIMES:

Tuesdays @ 9:30-12:30 pm for 4 sessions. We will start on September 10th, barring any scheduling issues, we will finish up on October 1st.

LOCATION:

Beverly Street Studio School, 217 W. Beverley Street, Staunton Va.
