For many years I have enjoyed sitting on the Charlottesville Downtown Pedestrian Mall. It is a great place to people watch while grabbing something to drink/eat. This view is from near the western end of of the mall, between the Omni and the (now demolished) ice Park. This 5x7 watercolor and ink sketch was done on a warm Saturday in the late afternoon.
